This eliminates reprocessing and avoids the route a reusable sensor takes from bed to bed.<\/p>\n<p>A SpO<sub>2<\/sub>The sensor illuminates the tissue with red and infrared light. Because oxygen-rich and oxygen-poor hemoglobin absorb the two wavelengths to different degrees, the monitor calculates the saturation level. This requires a well-vascularized measurement site and a sensor that neither presses nor slips.<\/p>\n<p>D-shaped connector, 8-pin.
