It can be applied and changed in seconds \u2013 the standard design for measurements on awake adults.<\/p>\n<p>A SpO<sub>2<\/sub>The sensor illuminates the tissue with red and infrared light. Because oxygen-rich and oxygen-poor hemoglobin absorb the two wavelengths to different degrees, the monitor calculates the saturation level. This requires a well-vascularized measurement site and a sensor that neither presses nor slips.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cable length 100 cm.<\/strong> The short version is intended for use with the adapter cable or the patient-side module; we also carry the same design with a 300 cm cable.<\/p>\n<p>D-shaped connector, 8-pin.
