Description

SpO2-Y-Sensor for Philips and HP, 300 cm – Reusable sensor.

The Y-sensor has two separate arms – one with the light source, one with the receiver. These are attached opposite each other using adhesive bandages or dressings. This means it's not limited to the finger: it also measures on the toe, hand, or foot – the ideal design for measurement sites where a clip won't fit.

A SpO2The sensor illuminates the tissue with red and infrared light. Because oxygen-rich and oxygen-poor hemoglobin absorb the two wavelengths to different degrees, the monitor calculates the saturation level. This requires a well-vascularized measurement site and a sensor that neither presses nor slips.

Cable length 300 cm.

D-shaped connector, 8-pin. It fits directly onto the monitors listed below; an adapter cable is required for other Philips devices.
