A complete cable carries the main cable and branches in one piece. It replaces the split solution of a main cable and individually connected branches: fewer connection points in everyday use, but in case of a fault, the entire cable must be replaced.

The five-lead version additionally includes the neutral electrode RL and a chest wall electrode V. Besides leads I, II and III, it allows for the display of amplified leads and a chest wall lead – required when not only the rhythm needs to be assessed.

Version with resistor. There are two outwardly identical versions of this cable, which differ electrically: This one contains a resistor that is part of the impedance breathing measurement. Which version your monitor requires is specified in its documentation – the breathing measurement requires the correct version.
