5-lead ECG patient lead with clamps for Philips – corresponds to M1978A.
The ECG cabling on the Philips monitor consists of two parts: The trunk cable goes from the monitor to the distributor, Patient management from there to the electrodes. A Complete cable It combines both in one piece – fewer connection points, but everything is replaced in case of a defect.
This patient lead is the part closest to the patient and is connected to an ECG trunk cable – the Philips trunk cable M1668A is specified. It cannot be used without a trunk cable.
The five-lead version additionally includes the neutral electrode RL and a chest wall electrode V. This allows for the visualization of leads I, II and III, as well as amplified leads and a chest wall lead.
